Greater Nation Christian Fellowship Church Inc is on a mission to help Elder Obvious Vengeyi fulfill the great vision God has placed in his heart in Zimbabwe, Africa. His vision includes; helping vulnerable children especially orphans in his community with clothes, shoes, school uniforms, school fees, food and any other necessities; establishing the Greater Nation International Church in Zimbabwe (and God willing in other parts of Southern Africa); establishing a Theological College/Centre or University in Zimbabwe.
BRIEF HISTORY ABOUT ZIMBABWE
Since 2010, Zimbabwe is recovering from a historical, decade-long economic crisis that impacted heavily on the poor. The economic melt-down resulted in closure of companies; massive unemployment, closure of schools, hospitals, grocery shops and literally all service delivery sectors. The most affected people are those in the rural areas and poor urban suburbs. Most of the people cannot afford food on a daily basis; they have no clothes and some have never put on shoes for the rest of their lives. With the HIV and AIDS pandemic, the number of orphans has continued to grow in many communities; many of these children cannot afford to pay school fees, cannot afford exercise books, ball point pens, pencils, school bags, school uniforms, blankets, etc, let alone to eat daily.
BECOME A FAITH PARTNER!
- It is with great humility that we ask you to become a "Faith Partner" with GNCFC:
1. in raising for a start, US$15,000.00 by December 2012.
2. in donating second hand clothes for all ages and both males and females but especially for children (shoes, dresses, trousers, shorts, skirts, jackets, pullovers, etc).
3. mobilising friends, churches, communities to partner with GNCFC in this noble cause.
4. praying for the vision to materialise and bring life and hope to the vulnerable.
